Rainbow for Girls - Bangor, Maine

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is an organization for young women between the ages of 11 and 20, regardless of race, creed or color. A girl is recommended by another member, or by a member of the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star or Amaranth. Masonic heritage is not a requirement for membership.

Sunshine Club - Bangor, Maine

The Sunshine Club was established in 1927 for the purpose of providing transportation for patients to the Springfield Shriners orthopedic hospital. The Sunshine Club now helps with transportation to the Boston Burns Hospital as well. We welcome new members at any of our meetings. Come join in!

Daughters of the Nile

Daughters of the Nile is an International fraternal organization for women 18 years or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason, or Daughter of the Nile or is a majority member in Good Standing of a Masonic-related organization for girls. The members of Daughters of the Nile are proud of their long association with Shriners International and their continuing support of Shriners Hospitals for Children®.

A generous donation by Mason Gary Freedman of Marblehead Opticians enabled Sheila Duncan to deliver a small "truckload" of Trouble plush healing pups to Maine recently. Through the wonderful work of The Sunshine Club for Children providing transportation to the Shriners Springfield Orthopedic Hospital and the Shriners Boston Burn Center, children will have a new forever buddy to accompany them and help them feel safe and have hope!
